

Rehet Kapoor
Executive Director
Rehet Kapoor serves as the Executive Director of Expressions Arts, a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young artists, fostering creativity, and building stronger communities through the arts. In this role, she oversees organizational strategy, event planning, community outreach, partnerships, volunteer engagement, and youth leadership initiatives. Having started her journey with Expressions Arts as a graphic designer, she has grown into one of the organization’s youngest leaders, mentoring student volunteers and helping create programs that inspire creativity, confidence, and service.
A passionate entrepreneur, Rehet is the founder of ReKap Creations, a successful creative business specializing in personalized artwork, gifts, and handcrafted products. Through her entrepreneurial journey, she has fulfilled hundreds of customer orders, built a thriving online business, and developed expertise in branding, digital marketing, customer engagement, and e-commerce. Guided by a commitment to social responsibility, she donates 25% of her business profits to support an orphanage in India.
Beyond entrepreneurship, Rehet is deeply committed to community service and youth empowerment. She is the co-founder of Sketchbook Studios, an initiative that provides free art education to children while fostering creativity, confidence, and self-expression. Through Expressions Arts and other community initiatives, she has organized numerous volunteer projects, art workshops, and outreach programs, believing that creativity has the power to unite communities and inspire meaningful change.
Throughout high school, Rehet demonstrated exceptional leadership across multiple organizations. She served as President of Teen Arts Council in Expressions Arts, President of her school’s National Art Honor Society, and President of DECA after previously serving as Director of Communications. Through DECA, she qualified thrice for the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) and earned recognition in competitive business events, strengthening her passion for business, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
An accomplished artist since the age of ten, Rehet has explored a wide range of artistic mediums including colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, and digital illustration. Her artwork has earned national recognition, including Third Place in the National Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest. She is also a three-time recipient of the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (Gold) for her dedication to community service and has received multiple Women Ikon Youth Excellence awards recognizing her leadership, entrepreneurship, and commitment to making a positive impact.
Whether leading nonprofit initiatives, building a business, mentoring young artists, or serving her community, Rehet believes that leadership is rooted in service and that creativity has the power to transform lives. She is passionate about using business, innovation, and the arts to create opportunities that empower others and build stronger communities.
This fall, Rehet will begin her undergraduate studies in Business at Carnegie Mellon University, where she looks forward to combining her passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and social impact to create meaningful and sustainable change.
