Communications Manager

My name is Vedaant Kulkarni and I am an 8th grader in Inglewood Middle School. I moved to Washington after spending 5 years in London. I think creativity is one of my strengths. I like to write, make video games and video editing.

For the past couple of years, I have been participating with my team in Destination Imagination. It is a competition where teams have to build a skit around a certain challenge using STEM components. For the last two years, the competition has been held online which allowed me to use my video editing skills. This year we got second place in globals where over 7000 students from more than 15 countries participated.

I have been playing Tennis for over 7 years and it is my passion. It is a sport I hope to play through high school and in college. In my free time I also enjoy doodling- a type of art form. I am excited for this new opportunity. I am glad that I will be able to make a difference and contribute to the community.
