Siri is a dedicated student and community leader with a passion for art, technology, business, and service. Her community service journey started with volunteering at the 501(c)(3) non-profit Expressions Arts in 2022, where she began assisting at local art workshops for senior citizens and children with special needs. In 2023, she co-founded the Sketchbook Studios initiative with the help of the Expressions Arts Microgrant, through which she conducts regular STEAM workshops as afterschool programs for students aged 3-7. She’s worked with over 3 schools, taught 100+ students, and managed a team of 15+ volunteers. Moreover, she has won the Presidential Volunteer Service award three times for her work, amounting 500+ volunteer hours. She has also helped raise $9,000 to give back to Expressions Arts.
Siri’s passions extend beyond community service. In high school, she was an active member of the DECA business club, where she served on board for three years and significantly expanded access to resources to improve competitive success. She competed in four different competitive events, gaining experience with fields across hospitality, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Siri is also interested in technology—in July 2025, she attended MIT’s BeaverWorks Summer Institute on the Cog*Works track; and in 2026, she won an Aspirations in Computing Award from the National Center for Women & Information Technology for Washington state.
In her free time, you can find Siri reading a book, listening to music, or painting something new. This fall, Siri is headed to study computer science at the University of Washington, Seattle, where she can’t wait to continue exploring her passions and giving back to her community!
